Who is responsible
Emanuel Balsa (InvestingGym), NIF [NIF — Emanuel to supply], [Address — Emanuel to supply]. Contact: help@investinggym.com.
What we keep
- Your email: it is your account. Access is linked to it.
- Purchase records: what you bought, when, and until when it is active. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Login links: a one-time sign-in code, stored in scrambled (hashed) form, valid for 20 minutes and used once.
- Votes: if you are a Network member and vote on the next report.
Why we keep it
- To give you the reports you paid for and let you sign in (needed for our contract with you).
- To keep invoices and payment records for as long as Portuguese tax law requires (a legal duty).
- To send the emails that belong to your purchase (sign-in links, receipts, renewal notices).
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us (processors)
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Neon: hosts the database with emails, purchases and votes.
- Brevo: sends the sign-in and service emails.
Some of these companies may handle data outside the EU. They do so under the safeguards that EU data protection law requires.
Cookies and on-device storage
We use two cookies, both strictly necessary: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers the language you chose. If you ring the opening bell, your browser remembers that on your own device. No tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, move it to another service, or object to how we use it. Email help@investinggym.com and we answer within one month. Some purchase records must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete your account.
You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
